Hi, I’m Malorie!

I’m a proud mom of two incredible kiddos, and I’m married to the love of my life, a man I first met back in high school. Life took us in different directions, but we reconnected four years ago, and it’s been the best adventure ever since. He’s my partner, my biggest cheerleader, and the calm to my chaos.

Photography first stole my heart back in high school when I developed my very first roll of film in 2004. Watching those images come to life in the darkroom lit a spark that has never left me. Even when life got busy with motherhood, I never put my camera down.

Today, I work a full-time job while also running M. Cogar Photography because photography is my passion. It means my availability is limited, but it also means every single session I take on matters deeply to me. I pour my heart into making each one relaxed, personal, and fun.

I specialize in seniors, families, couples, and branding sessions all across Holland, Zeeland, Hudsonville, and the rest of West Michigan. My goal is simple: to create natural and timeless images that feel like you and that you’ll treasure for years to come.
